Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Check-in has a strict window — Arrival is only accepted between 15:00 and 21:00, so late flights or long dinners need to be planned around it.
  • No pets allowed — The property does not accept pets, so travellers with animals will need to look elsewhere.
  • The Small Double is compact — The entry-level room has a single double bed and a courtyard view; those wanting more space or a city view should book the Deluxe Room.
  • Airport transfers cost extra — The airport shuttle is a paid service, so transfer costs sit on top of the room rate.

“Our stay at C'Est La Vie Suites was excellent. The location was perfect — just a short walk from St Peter's Square in a more residential area. The owner, Allessandro, recommended some great local bars that felt less touristy. Breakfast in the shared kitchen was a generous buffet with a wide range of options; my requested gluten-free breakfast came with a lovely selection of gluten-free goodies. The room was large, spotless and close enough to walk to Vatican City and the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon. Allessandro was a superb host, welcoming, full of local tips and ready with a map. Beds were comfortable, the shower room was well equipped, and the kitchenette had everything we needed, with complimentary tea and coffee. We could store our bags after checkout and pick them up later. Cons: none.”
